NAHT Maintained Nursery School event

You will probably be aware in the press that schools are generally facing difficult times due to limited budgets and increased costs.  This is particularly the case in Maintained Nursery Schools.  Within Lancashire we have been well supported by the county, but many of the 24 nursery schools in Lancashire are facing very difficult times ahead, including ourselves.

Last term we invited Tracy Brabin, MP to the school to meet with parents, governors, staff and other headteachers.  This was arranged with support from Burnley MP, Julie Cooper.  Julie is now one of the speakers at an event at Burnley Football Club on 12th October to raise the awareness of the difficulties.  Please see the attached poster for further information or see the poster on wall in the Parents' Room.
